ABSTRACT
The CIE Standard light source that represents a colour temperature of 5000 K (equal energy daylight), which is widely used in viewing booths and light boxes in the graphic arts industry for assessing print output. D50 is the International Standard target white point for viewing prints and is the viewing condition implicit in ICC colour management.
