ABSTRACT
The painter and decorator who thinks about the activities to be encountered prior to commencement of work will in most cases encounter very few problems. If the job to be undertaken is considered at the pricing or estimating stage, the problems can be planned and more importantly priced for in the cost of the work. There will of course be unexpected snags which are hidden by the existing decoration and a price will have to be negotiated with the customer during the course of the decoration.
