A cocky person who has fallen on hard times – “Arsèn Wenger was feeling malacock after Chelsea's win” in 2006 FA semi-final or, “the PM was quite malacock after seeing the opinion polls.”

Somebody who accepts their place in the ‘Pecking Order’ rather than living the life they really want.

Phoneycall

A telephone call from a dodgy salesperson trying to sell you something you don't need or want. Typically phoneycalls are received during the ‘big match’, just as you about to leave the house, or whenever the call is inconvenient. Phoneycallers are linguistically challenged as they do not have the word “No” and “Not interested” in their vocabulary.

Not quite a problem but something that needs sorting out. Seems less onerous than a real problem.
