ABSTRACT
Now that we’ve finished cutting “Wanna Trade,” it’s time to move on to new material. It is my suggestion that you now work on documentary footage or even a public service announcement (PSA). Many of the techniques we will introduce in the next few chapters work nicely with visual footage and narration. A scriptbased, dramatic scene with sync dialog, like “Wanna Trade,” is great for introducing you to the Avid basics, but as we move on to more complex tools, documentary or visual material is best for showing off these features.
