ABSTRACT
When a client decides they would like to carry out a project, whether it be an engineering or a building contract, there are a number of decisions that have to be made:-
• Who will design the works? • Will the works be designed before the start of the contract? • How firm a price is required? • Is speed and early completion of the project important? • Who takes the risk?
