ABSTRACT
This chapter provides an overview of Latin America, along with specifics on Mexico in North America and Brazil in South America to foster an appreciation of the unique, complex, and diverse Latin American peoples and their cultures. Coverage will also include some of the other countries in both Central and South America. In addition, information will be presented on the principal themes of Latin American cultures to facilitate doing business in or visiting this region. Finally, we examine some of the challenges for Pan American cooperation in the decades ahead.
