ABSTRACT
If you have already identified a number of areas for immediate waste reduction, or are in the process of taking the necessary action to reduce waste effectively and efficiently, it is likely that you are already seeing signs of increased efficiency across the work processes that you have analysed. In order to develop efficiency overall there will be some areas where immediate action is not practical. Any list that you have started to build will need to be prioritised, so that a resulting action plan, as at stage 6 of the waste management process, will take account of the necessary resources.
