ABSTRACT
Quantitative data is based on figures. Many people, including some managers, have a natural aversion to numbers. When they see a chart containing figures, they assume that it will be difficult to understand. They may not even attempt to make sense of quantitative data, but rely on somebody else to provide a verbal translation and interpretation.
