ABSTRACT
The Pandora Directive is the fourth adventure game in the Tex Murphy science-fiction mystery series. The program is released on CD-ROM and intended for home use. At the beginning of The Pandora Directive, Tex is hired to find Dr. Thomas Malloy. Many of the users of a program such as The Pandora Directive are primarily interested in the interactive story. For dedicated gamers, however, the challenge of solving difficult puzzles and racking up high scores is a prime appeal. Interactive Dialogue and Response Attitudes in The Pandora Directive scene for the character Louie Lamintz, the owner of the greasy spoon Brew & Stew. In order to make the example clearer, the author combined the Response Attitudes and dialogue lists into one.
