ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a case Study of The New England Economic Adventure (NEEA), which is an immersive exhibit that is part of the education program of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. The exhibit is at their headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts, serving the economic education needs of students and teachers in the New England area. The NEEA is part of a larger program delivered by the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston educators in an adjacent gallery. In addition to visiting the NEEA and the gallery, most groups will also participate in workshops in the Fed’s economic labs. To fulfill its mission of presenting economic education, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, one of the twelve regional banks, engaged Jeff Kennedy Associates to develop The NEEA.
