ABSTRACT

The first key organizational capability to be considered in building a highly conductive organization is strategy (see Figure 5.1). Achieving breakthrough performance depends, in large part, on the extent to which the strategies and the business activities that flow from these strategies are responding to what’s actually happening in the marketplace. Strategy is the foundation or lead organizational capability to which all other capabilities align.
