ABSTRACT

As humans, we need to make distinctions. It's part of our ongoing process of making sense of the world around us. Distinctions are based on worldview and context. A classic way to describe the concept of distinctions is to consider how fish describe “water.#x201D; The fact (we believe) is that fish are unaware that what they swim in is “water.” Similarly, we don't think, or haven't thought until now, about our existence itself as being embedded in networks.
