ABSTRACT
This session is a brief introduction to the statistics used in quality control, and what you learn in this session will be applied in Session D. Statistics is concerned with collecting, analysing, interpreting and presenting data. Statistics is important in quality control because quality control involves handling lots of data – mainly in the form of numbers.
