The distribution of data

So far, we have learned how to work out the mean, the range, and the standard deviation. So, if we have some quality control data, we can find their average value, and measure their spread.

Here’s another set of numbers. These are the transit times (in minutes) of lorry-loads of materials travelling between two branches of a company, during one week.
