ABSTRACT
Most of this session assumes you have some familiarity with the Internet, but section 2 takes you through the basics just in case you haven’t. We then move on to the usual search methods – search engines, and so on – and spend some time discussing how you can improve your searching abilities and gather better information. Finally there are a few words about intranets and about Internet abuse and how to deal with it.
