ABSTRACT
Change is not always a reaction to external or internal events. The organisation may be performing well but seek to perform even better. This may be because the organisation wants to act in anticipation of changes which it can see coming down the road in the next few years. Alternatively, it may be that the organisation wishes to go out and actively alter its business environment to its own advantage.
