ABSTRACT
What is leadership? As noted previously it is not easy to define leadership in such a way that all readers will accept as a true and complete reflection of what leadership entails. Sometimes leadership is described as ‘getting things done through people’. Others argue that leadership is about ‘exercising power in order to influence others’ or that true leadership is about ‘envisioning a bright future and taking others by the hand towards it’.
