ABSTRACT
One morning, Geoff saw Jed Tarrow, one of his team, walking across the yard. He noticed Jed wasn’t wearing a safety helmet.
The next time Geoff saw Jed, they were both queuing at the staff canteen for lunch. They exchanged greetings and talked a while about a job Jed was working on. Then Geoff said:
‘I noticed you in the yard yesterday without a helmet, Jed. That’s very unlike you.’
