ABSTRACT

Every organization is a complex combination of land, buildings, machinery, intellectual property, systems, cultures and, above all, people. The people form a complex organism – rather like a hive of bees – with each person interacting with all the others to a greater or lesser extent, and each making its own contribution to the good of the whole.
