ABSTRACT
There is a relationship between the two subjects of this chapter, since the technology will affect manufacturing. However, the organisation has to get both components right, as it is possible to have a poor strategy for technology while planning manufacturing in a very effective manner. Similarly, there may be a superb approach to technology, yet the company may not get the best out of manufacturing.
