ABSTRACT

If you are interested in film photography it is a good idea to work with a limited range ofwell-chosen films as you get to know their performance intimately, their response todifferent subject situations and, when necessary, just how far you can abuse a film before results become unacceptable. However, you must still pick your materials in the first place. It

would also be a pity not to explore some of the lesser-known films worth experimenting with for

their special qualities and effects.
