Who are the people involved? book
Every building project, whatever its nature, involves three main groups of people. Each has a distinct role and depends on the others. The three groups are: o Those with an idea who promote and instruct - the clients. o Those who design and think out the form and composition of the project -the designers. o Those who construct the building - the contractors. Few individuals or organizations are conscious of the role a client plays in a construction project. Usually they are not fully aware of how a client relates to designers and contractors, or aware of the relationships with the various other people and outside organizations who become involved in a building project.
