ABSTRACT
Among the wonders of modern technology for which many IT people feel proud is the advent of e-mail and voice mail. These inventions have transformed the lives of many people in business. They are the kinds of tools which are in full use by both IT and non-IT people. They may be seen by many to be the common ground on which business and IT people can meet. After all, there can be little difference in the ways in which these tools are used by both communities.
