ABSTRACT
The roots of the challenges you face in getting to the top lie in the nature of your history as an IT person. It is in the nature of IT to work with precision and certainty. Those of you who, like the authors, remember having to submit (what a wonderfully rich word in this context) punch cards to the compiler, and wait for its judgement, will also remember how unforgiving compilers are. There is a right answer, and wrong answers will be rejected.
