ABSTRACT
Some of the challenges we have been writing about in this book are faced by lots of managers, not just those in IT. But others are uniquely linked to the novelties and complexities of IT management. Because IT introduces a fundamentally new dimension into organizational life, it makes it hard to be sure whether to turn for help to specialists or generalists.
