ABSTRACT
The objective of this chapter is to develop an understanding of what is meant by the process of entrepreneurship in both economic and social terms. Specifically, the chapter will:
introduce and define the process of entrepreneurship;
identify key participants in the process;
develop understanding of entrepreneurship's contributing elements and features;
consider the application of the process within the hospitality, tourism and leisure industries.
