ABSTRACT
Before an IEJV is formed, the prospective partners should examine a number of critical issues, which, if understood and handled adequately, could result in limiting problems at a later date. Topics that should be discussed include how the partners will be compensated, the control issues, calls for additional capital, staffing of the IEJV, and termination issues.
