ABSTRACT
Studies on employee motivation have found that 70 percent of employees find themselves less motivated than they once were. Up to 80 percent could perform better if they wanted to and, sadly, roughly 50 percent of workers only put in enough effort to keep their jobs. To motivate employees, the manager must discourage organizational problems that rob them of their natural desire to succeed.
