ABSTRACT

People often decide where they will go for products and services based on where they can use their credit cards. The same is true in transactions between companies. Available credit terms may be the most important factor in selecting a supplier. Similarly, customers may weigh a credit option when deciding whether or not to do business with you. While offering credit may make you attractive to customers, it does present certain risks. One of the key ways to minimize this risk is to grant credit to the right customers and organizations. The bottom line is to assess who is likely to pay and who is not.
