ABSTRACT
The previous chapters in this book have addressed many aspects of tourism and hospitality in the 21st century. This concluding chapter begins with a discussion of what we regard as over-riding problems of tourism and hospitality in the new century, followed by a review of major challenges which the industry will face. We conclude the chapter with some thoughts on the likely nature of tourism and hospitality in the future.
