Step Four: Making the Tree Headdress
The completed tree costume is accompanied with a tree headdress. This tree headdress needs a headdress foundation made from Fosshape and covered with fl eece fabric, and branches made of foam cords and covered with fl eece fabric strips. The process is similar to making the god of Water headdress waves (Chapter 12; see Figures 12-3 to 12-9), except no wooden base is added to the Fosshape base, but a buckram base instead.
