ABSTRACT
Audio sampling is a technique that is used in nearly every area of music. From composers to pop artists, sampling is used as a means to save both time and resources. Sampling has also come into its own as a creative tool that is used to create new sounds and form brand new instruments. From the early tape-based samplers to the advanced modern sam- plers, a foundation has been laid for future expansion and development.
