EXAMPLE: A simple 16 foot diameter turntable consists of just three layers of 1/2″ plywood (1.5 lb/ft2) thoroughly glued and screwed together. Its casters attach to the floor, wheel-up, and so their mass does not spin with the table. What is the moment of inertia of this disk?
