When two or more resistors are joined together we create a resistor network. This Topic describes several types of network and their properties.
Resistors in series If two or more resistors are joined end-to-end so that current flows through each one in turn, we say they are joined in series. Compare this with cells joined in series, p. 25. We find the effective resistance of the series by adding together their resistances.
