ABSTRACT
Video has many features based directly on the points discussed in the previous chapters. There are also new ones, particularly where colour is introduced, but these will not be dealt with until black and white video has been thoroughly investigated. The reason for this is because video first appeared as a black and white standard, which was later adapted to take colour. To understand colour, we must therefore fully appreciate the basic black and white system.
