ABSTRACT
It is an established principle that any colour may be described in terms of red, green and blue (RGB). These are the colour primaries of additive colour; the distinction between adding coloured lights together and reflecting white light from coloured dyes is very important. Additive colour is that produced by the screen of a TV or monitor, where red, green and blue in equal amounts add to make white light (see Figure 5.1).
