ABSTRACT
A SIGNIFICANT PIECE OF THE DIGITAL PIE Although some people are fairly dismissive of projects made for young audiences and do not take this sector of new media seriously, this is a sadly shortsighted attitude. Content made for children and teens is not only every bit as demanding as content made for adults, but it is also a tremendously important arena in terms of the volume of products produced for it. Furthermore, children and teens are among the most enthusiastic fans of digital media, and they often lead the way when it comes to the adaptation of new forms of interactive entertainment. Thus they often help push the entire fi eld forward.
