ABSTRACT

In Chapter 2 we saw how some people were convinced about the environmen-

tal and social problems threatening the Earth, while others were not prepared to

believe that this was the case. Chapter 2 also showed that there was a far larger

number of people who were confused about the implications of the situation, and

did not feel informed enough to act on the information that they received. Those

working to move these people from unsure to actively sustainable will need to

unlock the potential of the confused and get them to listen again to the scope of the

problem, and enthuse them with the solutions.
