ABSTRACT

The NEBOSH National Certifi cate in Construction Health and Safety is assessed by two written examination papers (NGC1 – The management of health and safety; and NCC1 – Managing and controlling hazards in construction activities) and a practical assessment (NCC2 – Construction health and safety practical application). Both examination papers and the practical application must be passed so that the NEBOSH National Certifi cate in Construction Health and Safety may be awarded. Since the unitization of the course, students who have the recently passed NEBOSH National General Certifi cate will not need to re-take NGC1.
