Processing Controls When working with black-and-white materials, the following four factors play key roles in determining the fi nal color of the photograph:
1 . Paper type and grade. 2. Developer type, dilution, and temperature and length
of development. 3. Processing and washing. 4. Chemical toner type, dilution, and temperature and
length of toning.
