As we’ve noted on several occasions, the Avid is a complex editing system, loaded with features that give the editor tremendous fl exibility. For the most part, we have stuck to the basics in order to limit the amount of material you must grapple with to get the job done. Now, we’ll examine more advanced features. By the end of this chapter you’ll be a faster editor with greater control of the Timeline.
