4.1 Introduction
When an architect or architectural technologist agrees to act for a client he is involved in a legal relationship with that client. Among other things this could involve him in being sued for negligence. This and other matters relating to the legal position of the architect and technologist are dealt with in this chapter. Legal information given in this book is limited to what is appropriate for a student architect or architectural technologist.
