5.1 Introduction
This chapter explains the need architects and architectural technologists have of access to a wide range of information affecting the design and construction of buildings. It explains some of the ways this information can be obtained and the standard method of classifying information for building work. The list of sources of information provided in section 5.2 below is not intended to be comprehensive.
