ABSTRACT

This book is divided into seven principal parts to deal with the wide range of topics that fall within the scope of its title. Inevitably development control is one of the most significant matters that concerns any person involved in the development of land. Before 1925 the biggest impediment to the full economic realisation of land was the complicated forms of land ownership; today, attention is addressed to development controls, under the planning Acts.
