ABSTRACT
Ql and Q2 are chosen to have similar characteristics except for their polarity. The amplifier runs on a split supply. When there is no signal the input is at 0 V. This means that both amplifiers are off, and no power is being wasted. This is the distinguishing feature of Class B amplifiers.
