This chapter concentrates on selling goods to the end consumer via a w ebsite – essentially, online retailing – or e – tailing, as it is also known. It is, however, impossible to divorce the subject of this chapter from that of others throughout the book. Most obvious is the previous chapter that looks at website development, with a second being the ﬁ nal chapter that considers integrated Internet marketing.
