ABSTRACT
Photomerge is Adobe’s very own stitching technology designed, initially, to blend together several overlapping images to form a panoramic photograph. In Photoshop Elements 6 and 7, the utility has received a complete overhaul and can now be used for other stitching tasks as well. The tasks are broken down into four distinct ways of using the utility –
Photomerge Group Shot, Photomerge Faces, the new Photomerge Scene Cleaner and
Photomerge Panorama. See Figure 11.1. Over the next few pages we will look at each feature
in turn.
