ABSTRACT
The last stage in the project life cycle is implementation-the time when the project end-item is installed and turned over to the customer. The fi nal duty of the project manager is to assist the customer in taking over the end-item system and to close out the project. The second half of this chapter describes system implementation, project closeout, and the project manager’s role in each.
