ABSTRACT
The provisions of Part VI of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 provide a remedy for landowners who suffer from adverse planning decisions or proposals. This involves procedures under which local authorities and other public bodies are, in certain circumstances, compelled by a purchase notice to buy land affected by such decisions or proposals.
