ABSTRACT

Originally a member of Le Splendid café theatre troupe, she acted in a number of their plays which were eventually made into films, for example Poiré’s Le Père Noël est une ordure (1982). She was best known in the 1980s for her role as Depardieu’s lover in Blier’s Trap belle pour toi (1989), as well as for a number of her own comic films, for example Les Keufs in 1987. Her French Twist (Gazon maudit), in which she plays a lesbian, was the secondbest-selling film of 1995 in France. 1995 presidential election but was eliminated in the first ballot.
